A FEW WORDS BEFORE YOU INQUIRE
We ask the same of families that we ask of students.
Saint Charles Borromeo is a particular school for a particular kind of education. The families who flourish here share our convictions about what is at stake in their children's formation: that the Faith is true, that beauty matters, and that the work of real intellectual development is worth its cost.
You are warmly invited to learn whether this is the right school for your family. The process below is meant to help us both find out.
THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS
Five steps. No surprises.
- IINQUIRE10 minutesComplete the form below to tell us a little about your family and your child, including a brief statement explaining why you are considering Saint Charles Borromeo for your family. Every inquiry is reviewed personally by our Admissions Coordinator. You can expect a response within three business days.
- IIVISIT THE SCHOOLA half-morningExperience a morning at Saint Charles Borromeo. Your visit begins with Holy Mass at 8:00, followed by a conversation with our Admissions Coordinator. You'll then enjoy a guided tour of the school, including two class observations in two of our grades. Plan for no more than two hours.
- IIIAPPLICATIONSubmitted by 15 JanuaryComplete your online application through our admissions portal by uploading your student's birth certificate, most recent report card, and any available standardized test scores. Parents are also asked to include a brief statement in answer to the question, "Why do you want your child to attend St. Charles Borromeo?"
- IVCONVERSATION & ASSESSMENTAn hour, on campusYour child completes a grade-level assessment. Parents meet with the Principal for a friendly conversation; the intention is to get know each other and the school.
- VDECISION & ENROLLMENTBy 1 MarchAdmissions decisions are communicated via email by 1 March. Upon acceptance, families complete the enrollment process through the FACTS Family Portal and apply for need-based financial aid.
TUITION & AID
An education worth its cost.
Tuition at Saint Charles Borromeo is set as low as the school can responsibly bear. It does not cover the full cost of educating a child here; the difference is met by the generosity of benefactors who believe in this work.
Families that are invited to enroll are given the opportunity to apply for financial aid. Substantial need-based aid is available.
